Curiosity became a lab.
I started taking systems apart to understand how they worked—legally, carefully, and usually with more questions than answers.

I’m Zephryx—23, a SOC Analyst by job and an ethical hacker by obsession. I have been learning this craft since 8th grade, and I am nowhere near done.
Just real work, authorized labs, honest notes, and a lot of questions.
01 // HOW I GOT HERE
I started taking systems apart to understand how they worked—legally, carefully, and usually with more questions than answers.
CTFs, home labs, broken scripts, failed commands, and the habit of writing down why the next step made sense.
Today I work as a SOC Analyst and threat hunter. The role keeps the consequences real and the learning grounded.
I am turning the notes I wish I had into free writeups, tools, roadmaps, and practical learning material.
02 // WHAT I BELIEVE
If I cannot reproduce it safely in a lab, I do not understand it well enough yet.
Commands matter less than the question they answer and the evidence they produce.
Wrong assumptions and corrections are often the most useful part of a writeup.
Scope, authorization, and respect for other people’s systems are not optional details.
03 // WHY ZEPHRYX EXISTS
Too much cybersecurity content starts with a wall of theory or ends with a magic command. That never helped me understand what was actually happening.
Zephryx exists to document the middle: the setup, the wrong turn, the evidence, the correction, and the reason the technique works.
Make practical security easier to enter—without pretending it is easy to master.
